- Prerequisites and co-requisites The prerequisite for successful completion of the course is knowledge of courses MPF_BAN1 Banking, BPF_FIMA Financial Mathematics, BPM_STA1 Statistics 1, BPM_MATE Mathematics and BPE_ZAEK Basics of Econometrics.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge about basic aspects of banking economics and banking services, especially for corporate clients. Students will deepen their knowledge of corporate banking products.
- Learning outcomes
- After successful completion of the course, students should be able to:
- understand the differences in the products of corporate banking,
- explain the methods and process of customer relationship management in banks,
- understand the functioning and development of banking markets and systems. - Syllabus
- 1. Banking products of the corporate segment. 2. Case studies operational financing and investment financing. 3. Alternative forms of financing - factoring, forfaiting, leasing, venture capital. 4. Banking products of the municipalities segment. 5. Financing of development projects. 6. Case studies of financing development projects. 7. Financing of export activities. 8. Project financing. 9. Off-balance sheet banking products. 10. Case studies of off-balance sheet financing. 11. Prompt and futures operations, financial derivatives. 12. Illegal activities of banks. Money laundering.

Homework based on compulsory and recommended literature, links and sources from presentations at lectures. - Assessment methods
- Requirements for completion of the course:
(a) active participation in lectures (ability of students to answer questions asked at the seminar and ability to solve model examples / case studies);
b) elaboration, submission and presentation of case studies based on teachers' instructions
(c) written examination and oral debate.
The final grade consists of: evaluation of case studies (max. 10 points) and final exam result (max. 40 points).
Rating scale:
A: 50 - 47 points
B: 46 - 43 points
C: 42 - 39 points,
D: 38 - 35 points,
E: 34 - 30 points

Credit evaluation note: k = 1. - Teacher's information
- Note: Any copying, recording or taking of tests, use of illicit aids as well as means of communication or any other violation of the objectivity of the examination will be considered a failure to complete the course and a gross violation of the study regulations. Consequently, the teacher closes the exam with an "F" mark in the IS and the Dean initiates disciplinary proceedings, which may result in the completion of studies.
