- The aim of the course is to develop students' knowledge and skills in measuring and evaluating the economic benefits of tourism.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
to define tourism as a segment of the national economy;
make use of various instruments for measuring the economic benefits of tourism;
interpret the results from the Tourism Satellite Account;
describe the factors that influence tourism demand;
assess and interpret supply trends in tourism;
discuss the role of tourism as a factor of regional development;

- The written exam is required (reaching 60% of the total score is the condition for the successful finishing of the subject). Part of the evaluation is the individual project on a given topic. The written exam is 60% and the individual project is 40% of the grade.
