- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with content data and formal requirements for a diploma thesis.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- formulate a thesis objectives and hypotheses,
- choose appropriate methods of solution,
- formulate conclusions of the diploma thesis and prepare arguments for the defens. - Syllabus
- Seminars:
- In-term consultation of achieved results, consultation of work’s progress, used methods, partial results, etc.
- Final revision of diploma thesis. Supervisor’s evaluation, preparation for diploma thesis defence, consultation of reports, diploma thesis submission.

- Teaching methods
- Theoretical preparation for diploma thesis and its defense.
- Assessment methods
- The course is completed with credit. Conditions for obtaining credit: preparation, submission (in electronic form no later than a week before the presentation), and presentation (using presentation software) of the basis for the presentation of the diploma thesis. The condition for obtaining credit is the evaluation of the basis for the presentation and the presentation itself as a pass. The background for the presentation must meet the requirements for bibliographic citations valid for theses. If the student enrolls in the course at the time of his departure abroad, he must agree on the terms of credit with his thesis supervisor. Credit can only be awarded for completed work that the supervisor considers to be defensible.
