Course objectives
The course is focused especially on the allocation and distribution functions of the public finance. It includes a detailed analysis of public budgets and their revenue and expense sides. It also absorbs the usual content of tax theories and the theories of evaluation of public expenditure. The stabilizing function of public finance, theory of the public debt and the relation between fiscal and exchange policies are reviewed in the final part. However, they do not constitute the substance of the subject.
