Course objectives
Market Theory (TETR) The course is focused on a theoretical analysis of a market as a means of satisfying the needs in a market economy. Referring to the knowledge acquired in theory of supply and demand, the lectures are concentrated on the price theory through consumer behaviour theory to modern consumption theory. The knowledge can be used in making decisions between the market and the state in the transformation process of economy. Seminar activities will be centred on the application of market theory to state economic policy and completion of an independent piece of work. Examination: oral.
