- Course objectives
- The course follows the Mathematics I course. The graduates should understand and be able to use basic terms and methods of differential calculus of two and more variables, integral calculus of functions with a single variable, including infinite integrals, progressions and series. Differential equations are also introduced so their mathematical foundations for the following subjects Statistics and Economic-Mathematical Methods are completed.

- Lectures: 1. Function of more variables. Graphic visualization. 2. Limit and continuity. Partial derivatives. Total differential. Taylor's theorem. 3. Extremes of functions of more variables (local, global) and applications (least squares method of solving systems of linear equations). 4. Sequences, basic characteristics. Limit of sequence, divergent sequence. 5. Primitive function. Integrating by simplification. Integrating by parts. 6. Integrating by substitution. Integrating rational functions. 7. Definite integral. Methods for the definite integral and applications. 8. Infinite integral. 9. Double and multiple integral. 10. Infinite series. Sequence of partial sums, sum of series. Convergence criteria. 11. Functional series. Power series, convergence ratio. 12. Differential equations. General and particular solution. Initial condition. 13. Separation of variables method.
