- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to contribute to and enhance students knowledge relating to logistics and spatial economic strategies.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand logistics as a major corporate process
- understand logistics as a competitive advantage (profit)
- understand competitiveness of individual firms and the entire logistics chain
- enhance systematic way of thinking to allow for effective Supply Chain Management

- 3. Material flow as a system, basic and performance part of logistics

- Teaching methods
- Teaching takes form of lectures and seminars (supplemented with graphic and audiovisual materials) and a case study with calculation of examples.
- Assessment methods
- Control tests are held in 9th (running) and 12th (concluding) weeks of semester and students must pass them.
Form of the exam: writen and oral
Reaching 60% of points is a prerequisite for admission to the test. The same conditions hold for the final test (60%).
If student commits a prohibited act, such as usage of various forbidden tools, cribbing, taking out any part of the exam or any other cheating, teacher is allowed to interrupt an exam and to grade a student with F, FF or FFF according to the seriousness of the offence. - Language of instruction
