Course objectives
In a globalized world one of the key competencies will be intercultural sensitivity. The art of negotiation and problem solving with foreign partners could substantially influence business accomplishments stemming from international collaboration. Preparedness to negotiate with foreign partners consists not only in possessing the necessary knowledge regarding distinct cultures but also in absorbing basic attitudes and practical skills that will facilitate negotiation and minimize misunderstnading resulting from different national perspectives.
The programme takes place abroad. Students take part in an international workshop which will be held in Caen (France) from April 8th till April 19th 2013 within Erasmus Intensive Project. The programme is coordinated by Ecole de Management de Normandie.

Participation in the programme requires excellent language skills (English) and a successful pass through a selection process.

The EM Normandie (with financical grants of the European Union) will:
• pay directly for the housing of the participating students while staying in Normandie.
• reimburse 75 % of transport cost between Vienna and Caen (students must hand in their train/plane ticket).
