Course objectives
The aim of this course is the preparation and implementation of the first phase of the thesis. After completing the course, students will be able to:
• to select the correct strategy and tactics of scientific writing,
• to acquire and to apply the theory and methods of solution of the problem,
• to retrieve, to process and correctly interpret the necessary factual information,
• to implement and to evaluate empirical investigation, including recommendations one follows,
• to act in the spirit of publishing ethics,
• to adopt the principles of professional-style writing.
Syllabus
  • Seminars:
    1. Sense and goals of the final work procedures in its processing, work with literature, databases, etc.
    2. Use of qualitative methods.
    3. Principles of survey.
    4. Enjoyment of quantitative methods.
    Individual consultation with the supervisor during the semester.

Teaching methods
Individual study and consultations with the supervisor.
Assessment methods
Preparation Bachelor Thesis and participation in consultations are evaluated as requirements fulfilled/not fulfilled. Credits are granted of the supervisor at the end of the semester after all criteria have been met. To successfully finish the course, the student must submit a minimum of 15 pages of the final thesis to the supervisor.
