- The student is required to have copleted the course Diploma thesis nad Diploa seminar 1. It is assumed that the diploma thesis that the student will present is in a state before completion.

- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to: orientate oneself in investment instruments, subjects and relations on financial markets, apply this knowledge on real financial markets, analyse particular problems on financial markets, propose possible ways of their solution, compare them and subsequently formulate conclusions and recommendations for particular subjects on financial markets and assess them.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- adequately structure the presentation of the diploma thesis,
- present the procedures and methods used in the elaboration of the diploma thesis,
- present data for the application part of the diploma thesis and their use,
- formulate the conclusions of the diploma thesis and its contribution in connection with the set goals of the thesis,
- support the conclusions of the diploma thesis with relevant arguments,
- respond to questions about the content of the thesis. - Syllabus
- The thematic plan and content focus of the seminars are based on the topics of diploma theses of students enrolled in this course; it therefore corresponds to the details given for the relevant topics within the schedule of diploma theses of the Finance study program.

- Literatura je dána povinnou a doporučenou literaturou předmětů bloku A, tedy specializace Finanční trhy a investice (jejich seznam viz https://www.econ.muni.cz/o-nas/organizacni-struktura/561700-katfinanci/szz-na-kf).
- Teaching methods
- Seminars - elaboration of the basis for the presentation of the diploma thesis, presentation of the diploma thesis, follow-up discussion.
- Assessment methods
- The course is completed by credit.
Conditions for obtaining credit:
Elaboration, submission (in electronic form no later than one week before the presentation) and presentation (using presentation software) of the basis for the presentation of the diploma thesis.
The condition for obtaining the credit is the evaluation of the basis for the presentation and the presentation itself as passed.
The basis for the presentation must meet the requirements for bibliographic citations valid for final theses.
Any copying or other violation of the objectivity of the credit will be considered as failure to meet the conditions for completion of the course and as a gross violation of study regulations. As a result, the teacher in IS MU closes the subject with the evaluation "N" and the dean initiates disciplinary proceedings, the result of which may be the completion of studies. - Language of instruction
