Course objectives
The aim of the course is to clarify the topic of the final thesis and create the assignment according to which the student will proceed to solve their work.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course a student should be able to:
● formulate a managerial problem and set a goal of the bachelor thesis;
● propose appropriate methods of resolution of the problem;
● define characteristic features of scientific work;
● judge the sources of literature and use them for creating literature review;
● create the official assignment of the bachelor thesis in cooperation with a supervisor.
Syllabus
  • Teaching is based on individual consultations with supervisor of the thesis during the whole semester. These are supposed to lead to creation of the official assignment of the thesis, which is considered to be the main output of this course.

Teaching methods
Individual study and consultations with the supervisor leading to formulation of the official assignment of the thesis.
Assessment methods
Students are rewarded with a credit for participation in consultations and for active cooperation with their supervisors on the official assignment of the bachelor thesis.
