• Introduction, translators - compilers and interpreters, their function and structure
• Lexical analysis, lexical analyser as finite automata with output, constructor
• Deterministic syntactic analysis, LL(1) grammar and languages, decomposition tables applications in syntactic analysis
• Internal forms of source code
• Translating grammars, attribute grammars
• The function of syntactic analyser
• Procedure parameters types, memory scheduling, languages with block structure
• code generation
