- The concept of ideal data model (IDM) of an organisation, components of IDM, architecture of organisation IDM
- Pattern constructions in components: recursive relationships, the bill-of-material structure, construction using data polymorphism, using of the construction "occurrence is an element of of a class"
- Semantics mistakes in existing IS and how to find them
- Component architecture of IS, the concept of a delegate of an entity in component, consolidation of components of IDM, categorisation of entity sorts
- The component "Global objects": identification of objects and their relationships, unification of identical objects and relationships
- Deriving of the logical data model (LDM) from IDM and its transformation to physical data model (PDM)
- Exercises focused on: practical advance of the creating of an organisational IDM using CASE, audit of organisation data model
- Assignment: to create IDM of a given organisation
