- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to introduce various interesting instruments in popular form; to understand basic principles of function of instruments; to learn the application of instruments in common life; to learn the application of instruments in various scientific fields to analyze various physical, chemical, and biological parameters; to learn about evaluation of acquired data.
- Syllabus
- Principles of function and application of various instruments such as laser, photomultiplier, CCD camera, optical fibre, magnetic resonance spectrometer, optical and electron microscopy, near-field and atomic force microscopy, mass spectroscopy, use of ultrasound in medicine, EKG and EEG, brain MRI, roentgen tomography (also known as CT) etc.
