Syllabus
  • The seminar reviews selected topics in IT security in a greater depth. Students are expected to deliver solutions to several assignments and a term project. The project is essential to the final colloquy in the end of the term.
  • Topics of the seminars cover applications of cryptographic mechanisms, especially of the public key techniques.
  • Key management.
  • Authentication.
  • Security in communications and networks.
  • Personal security and professional ethics.
  • Role of standards and evaluation (criteria).
  • State restrictions and cryptography.
  • Up-to-date topics are also set during the term.
