- Syllabus
- Sound environmental performance can be achieved by controlling the environmental impacts of an company's activities, products and services and implementation of environmental management systems.
- Introduction into history and development of Environmental Management Systems (EMS). and program EMAS (Environmental Management and Audit Schemes) of European Union. Base definitions of EMS and EMAS and their terminology.
- Environmental policy, objectives, targets, program, planning, implementation and operation, checking and corrective actions, audit and management review and continual improvement of environmental performance (EP).
- Environmental performance evaluation (EPE) should be part of the regular business functions and activities of the company and management commitment to evaluate EP is essential. EPE and methodology of environmental indicator determination.
- International standards of EMS - norms ISO 14000, Directive Council EU 1836/93 and their application in the Czech republic. Connection between EMS and QMS (Quality Management Systems). Norms ISO 9000.
- Methodology of implementation of information system EMS in company using norms ISO 14001, 14004, 14031 and ISO 9000-3.
