- Course objectives
- The requirements for the written exam are as follows: all the vocabulary, grammar and all the phrases of Angličtina pro jazykové školy I and II + all the lecture materials + all the specialized vocabulary of the texts specified in the syllabus.
The oral exam requirements: a presentation on a computer-related topic (length: at least 5 minutes). - Syllabus
- The requirements for the written exam are as follows: all the vocabulary, grammar and all the phrases of Angličtina pro jazykové školy I and II + all the lecture materials + all the specialized vocabulary of the texts specified bellow:

- To be considered "passed", the student must reach the average score of at least 60 percent. The oral exam requirements: a presentation on a computer-related topic (length: at least 5 minutes), all the vocabulary, grammar and phrases contained in Angličtina pro jazykové školy I and II and the specialized computer terminology contained in the teaching materials (specialized texts specified above + lecture materials).

- Assessment methods
- The examination consists of two parts: a written test and an oral examination. The written test is based on upper intermediate grammar and IT vocabulary and consists of the following parts: a cloze test, key word transformations, word formations, multiple choice and explanation of IT vocabulary based on the materials recommended. To prepare for the task types of the written part of the exam, we recommend using any FCE-focused practice materials. The oral examination is a presentation on an IT-related topic and a discussion, and also includes translating phrases/grammar and IT vocab focused sentences from Czech into English. The level is B2 of the Common European Framework (Upper Intermediate).
