Course objectives
Main objectives of the course could be summarized as follows:
to understand the principles of research ethics; to understand the topics of unfair competition law and scientific integrity; to undestand the basic issues of the research activity from the legal viewpoint, from the public morality, public budgets, public competition and legal infrastructure of the research in the European Research Area and in the Czech legal framework;

  • The basic notions of research and innovations, public morality, public budgets, public competition and legal infrastructure of the research
  • The research ethics and its moral and legal consequencies, f.i. in the labour law, copyright law and unfair competition law
  • The scientific integrity and the case studies
  • Research related aspects of the intellectual property rights, f.i. the access rights etc.
