Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: use appropriate register for a given language situation; effectively listen to lectures and take notes; lead and/or take active part in seminar discussions; give well-organized presentations; compose well-structured letters essential for studies and workplace; effectively read extensive academic/professional texts and critically evaluate them.
