Course objectives
The goal of the course is to connect knowledge of mathematics and programming.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students will be able to: demonstrate understanding of selected mathematical notions through practical implementation; write a program that utilizes mathematical notions.

  • The course overviews notions from different areas of mathematics, the focus is on related programming problems (typically with interesting graphical output).
  • Number theory.
  • Combinatorics.
  • Geometry.
  • Linear algebra.
  • Fractals and chaos.
  • Probability and statistics.
  • Graphs and mazes.
