Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with specific practical realizations of fitness training in the conditions of the common population (fitness center and wellness center) as well as in the sport environment. Another goal is to teach students to apply the basics of fitness training to the preparation of training programs and plans.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: • Apply in practice the basics of fitness training for recreational athletes, common populations in fitness centers and wellnescentres • to create and implement fitness training programs taking into account the specificities of individual sports disciplines or the client's requirements • Apply training programs with regard to sports training, biological and training age, skills and sporting disciplines • Organize and manage training units according to current scientific knowledge • Identify, monitor and evaluate the intensity and volume of the load in the training unit • use quick feedback for technique correction for selected exercises
Syllabus
  • • Realization of listening and management of the fitness part of the training units • Setting up a training plan (microcycle) for a selected recreational athlete (common population) in relation to age and performance specifics. • Monitoring intensity and volume of workload within training units using sporttesters, • Diagnosis of fitness level • Determination of 1 OM in selected strength exercises with resistors • Quick reverse analysis of video tutorial techniques and the use of analytical software. • Monitoring the preparation of training units, their implementation and evaluation by the coach • Setting up a training plan (microcycle plans for a selected athlete.
