- Course objectives
- The course is aimed at the current issues of sports training and selected categories, e.g. sports performance and its structure, the effectiveness of sports training, management, planning, periodization and records of sports training, prediction and selection of sports talent, early specialization, etc.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to analyze the characteristics of contemporary sports training and to characterize the theoretical bases of modern sports training.

- Lecture; Block seminar; E-learning support; and Form of teaching – theoretical preparation corresponding to the planned outcomes of teaching.
- Assessment methods
- Obligation to attend seminars and actively participate in discussions; Individual homework during the semester; Final Evaluation (active participation, written/oral examination, or more precisely, colloquium); Form of Assessment - the final written test consists of 35 questions rated 35 points; To be successful it is necessary to achieve at least 25 points (approx. 70%).
