- The main goal of teaching: - getting acquainted with dance styles - movement with music - Improvement in movement skills and physical levels - Positive effect on access to sports activities, defense against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - Promoting a healthy lifestyle of students Teaching focuses on modern forms of dance emphasis on progressive development of movement skills in line with the music and their own feelings.

- After completing the course, students will be able:

- 1. Introduction to Street Dance Definition and significance of Street Dance History and development of individual styles (e.g., hip-hop, popping, locking, breakdance) The importance of music and rhythm in Street Dance styles 2. Basics and Techniques Development of basic movements and stances Working with balance, body control, and center of gravity Expression and personal style in dance Basic steps: groove, bounce, rock, slide, freeze, toprock, and footwork 3. Style and Choreography Overview of main styles: hip-hop, popping, locking, house, etc. Techniques for each style and their combinations Focus on coordination and precision Improvisation vs. choreography 4. Music and Rhythm Analysis of various music genres used in Street Dance The importance of rhythm and working with music in dance Techniques for listening to music and interpreting beats 5. Improvisation and Freestyle Basic principles of freestyle Development of personal dance identity and unique style Working with emotions and expression Exercises for self-expression and adapting movements to music 6. Teamwork and Synchronization Group choreography and formations Importance of collaboration, synchronization, and communication in a team Creating a collaborative choreography 7. Competitions and Performances Preparation for performances and competitions Performance principles and building stage confidence Understanding the format and rules of street dance battles Etiquette and respect within the street dance community 8. Physical Preparation and Injury Prevention Warm-ups, stretching, and strengthening exercises for dancers Injury prevention and recovery Caring for the body and mental well-being of a dancer 9. Project – Creating a Personal Choreography Selecting music and structuring a choreography Working with elements of all learned styles Presenting the final choreography and receiving feedback 10.
