- Course objectives
- Meteorology, climatology, hydrology The goal of the subject is a complex characteristics of the atmosphere and hydrosphere, understanding the matter and energy transformations. The bonds between the elements of these two systems are emphasised. In meteorology, the emphasis is given on the mechanisms atmosphere movements, which influence weather forming. Climatology concentrates on the classification of the climate, its changes in the past and possible extrapolation in the future. Hydrology is partly included in meteorology teaching contents. The attention is given to spreading hydrosphere in the frame of landscape and the laws of its movements.
