- Course objectives
- This course is the first contact a student of the Faculty of Sports Studies with a specialization that deals with the musculoskeletal system. This is the initial object to block the movement of objects. Obtaining this knowledge is a prerequisite for further study at the Faculty of Sports Studies MU. As part of the course, students are gradually introduced to: the overall construction of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, muscles) function of each part of the musculoskeletal system, the potential risks of injury in sports and in everyday life. After completing this course the student will be able to understand the teaching of other related subjects. At the same time gaining the information necessary for the exercise of his future profession
- Syllabus
- Importance of studying anatomy, its distribution, nomenclature - cell, tissue, organ, organ system. Focusing on the human body - plane, the axis directions. The general doctrine of the bones and joints. Bones and joints body axis. Bones and joints of the skull. Bones and joints of the upper limb. Bones and joints legs. General theory of muscle types and muscle function, introduction to PNS. The dorsal trunk muscles, their innervation. Ventral muscles of the torso - chest and abdomen and their innervation. Head and neck muscles, their innervation. The muscles of the upper limb (girdle, arm, forearm), their innervation. The muscles of the upper extremity (hand) muscles of the lower limb (girdle, thigh, their innervation. The muscles of the lower extremities (lower leg, foot), their innervation.

- Assessment methods
- Teaching block consists of lectures and seminars. Seminars are mandatory. Classes take place with the help of anatomical models and slides and audio-visual techniques. The course is concluded with the granting of credit. The final assessment is a written test and oral exam.
