Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
* understand Informal System and Study and Examination Regulations of Masaryk University;
* design and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint document;
* understand Intenret (communication, searching, security);
* ways to break security, redundancy, archiving
Syllabus
  • * operating of IS - agendas Student, Study
  • * Study and Examination Regulations
  • * using of email - sending, receive, appendices, redirecting, ethics
  • * practical acquirements in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) - fundamental typographical rules
  • * publicize on Internet (PDF, HTML) - converting among formats, portability
  • * Internet - finding of informations - locator: Google...
  • * Safeness in internet (viruses, spam, firewall, ..., up-dating) - definition of virus, work of antivir software, detection, antispam policy. Public domain for common user.
  • * Internet banking - principles, safeness using, encryption
