- At the end of the course students should be able to:
know the basic principles of mountain hiking
understand principles of orientation in nature (map and GPS)
work with information about mountains, walking, leisure time, hiking - Syllabus
- 30th Sep 2014 - Transport to Štřbské Pleso, Slovakia (High Tatra Mountains / Vysoké Tatry) and short trip around Štrbské Pleso lake.
- 1st Oct 2014 - full-day hike (Bystrá lávka pass, 2300 m asl)
- 2nd Oct 2014 - full-day hike (Mt. Rysy, 2503 m asl)
- 3rd Oct 2014 - half-day hike or visit Museum of National park The High Tatras, transport to Brno
