Course objectives
Study of Clinical Kinesiology provides students with information on the specific pathological conditions in kinesiology important for application in physiotherapy, sports medicine and preventive medicine.
Syllabus
  • Kinesiology axial system - motion segment, the axial components of the system (supporting, fixing, hydrodynamic, kinetic, kinematic), stability of the segment and sector. Kinesiology individual sectors of the axial system (upper cervical sector, sector lower cervical, upper thoracic sector, the sector lower thoracic, upper lumbar sector, lower lumbar sector) - functional significance, passive and active stability of the motion segment, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of areas. Kinesiology chest and abdominal wall - Kinematics of the chest and abdomen, thoracic kinematics sectors, diaphragm, effect on respiration - clinical significance, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of this area. Kinesiology basic postural mechanisms at the level of the motor system and dynamic movement stereotypes.
