- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The main goal of the course is to improve the level of locomotory skills and fitness, namely the cardio-respiratory level, muscle endurance, flexibility. It also aims to influence a positive approach of university students towards sports activities, which supports their healthy lifestyle. Functional training is a complex system of exercising, where a maximum number of muscles are involved. The muscles do not work in an isolated fashion, but they closely cooperate in functional chains. The muscular work and the order of muscles involved in a muscle chain is determined and controlled by the central nervous system. Other goals are to strengthen ther core muscles, to include a natural way of motion into the training process, to remove or improve incorrect motion stereotypes and a wrong coordination of the whole body. The course lessons include elements of Pilates and Bossu exercise, as wellas the TRX system.

- 1. Training of the correct Pilates technique, core training - center of the body 2. Practice basic exercises using equipment Bosu and TRX (suspension system) 3. Comprehensive lessons, including warm-up and stretching
