- Course objectives
- During this subject students will synthesize theoretical knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, anthropomotorics, biomechanics and social studies. Students will apply these knowledge in the issue of adaptation of human organism to different types of sport training. Main objective is to help student understand basic principles and approaches of skill development of which lead to improvement of sport form and performance. Some special chapters will be also discused, for example diagnostics in sport, programming and planning of training process, classification of skills and many others. Students are in small groups, where they discuss and present their own work on related topics.
- Learning outcomes
- Students are in small groups, where they discuss and present their own work on related topics. By the end of the subject students will be able to define, explain and correctly use basic terms such as sports training, performance, shape, form and to classify sports performance. They will be also able to define objectives, tasks and outcomes of sport training, explain process of adaptation and create training plan using appropriate stimulus (specific, nonspecific). Students will be taught to apply these knowledge in different sport disciplines.
