Course objectives
The first objective of the course I. Clinical Kinesiology is to build on the subject of Kinesiology, kinesiology principles which were addressed in general and move to the level of teaching kinesiology special. I. Clinical Kinesiology further builds on the subjects Anatomy I. - II., Neurophysiology, biomechanics, and further develops the knowledge gained in the functional aspects of the anatomy of the locomotor system. Another goal is to understand kineziologických relations at local and global level, students will gain awareness of the different kineziologických regularities and relationships in the context of the whole body and individual body segments. The course also helps students to gain knowledge about movement patterns, factors passive and active stability. An equally important objective is to explain the problem not only structural, but also functional pathology and clinical aspects in the context of its kinesiology. This will be for the students laid a theoretical foundation that will continue to apply in practical teaching in this course Fundamentals of diagnosis and therapy of disorders of locomotor system I. - IV.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to clinical kinesiology. Kinesiology pelvis and lower limbs - introduction, passive and active components girdle. Kinetics and kinematics of leg joints - function, leg joints, foot arch, passive and active stability of the motion segment, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of this area. Kinetics and kinematics of the femur and tibia. Kinetics and kinematics of the knee joint - function, passive and active stability of the motion segment, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of this area. Kinetics and kinematics of the hip joint - function, passive and active stability of the motion segment, clinical aspects, functional and structural pathology of this area. Kinesiology basic postural mechanisms at the level of the lower limbs and dynamic movement stereotypes.
