Course objectives
The goal of the course is to improve students´ level of academic English skills as well as their awareness of the scientific method and develop specific research skills such as effective searching in databases, data analysis and presentation.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students will have acquired basic language needed for writing research papers.

  • Unit 1: The scientific method, database search; Unit 2: Data collection techniques, research designs; Unit 3: Data analysis, presenting data; Unit 4: Writing an abstract
