- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to clarify theory of martial arts.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- know proper place of martial arts in combatives taxonomy
- diferentiate among terms „martial arts“ and „combat sports“
- divide martial arts into diferent groups according to various criterion.
- understand basic techniical, tactical and philosopfical principles of martial arts
- know theory of martial arts and is able to describe its aplication in physical education and sport
- know history and evolution of martial arts
- know curicular frames of selected martial arts schools
- understand the meaning of martial arts didactics - Syllabus

- Sacralisation in martial arts
