Course objectives

Learning outcomes and competences of the course is to familiarize students with the problems of rehabilitation, prevention and rational choice of physical activities and regime recommendations of individuals with frequent types of internal diseases. In more detail the issue is focused on metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.

Learning outcomes

The student is able to interpret the problems of rehabilitation and prevention of internal diseases, to formulate recommendations in physical activity and to apply acquired knowledge. The knowledge gained is able to be used in connection with nutritional recommendations and recommendations in connection with regeneration in sport.

Syllabus

• 1. Úvod do problematiky, vymezení základních pojmů, medicínská (léčebná) rehabilitace a její postavení v současné medicíně a oborech zabývajících se poblematikou prevence a rehabiitace. Úloha lékaře, fyzioterapeuta, odborníka v oblasti pohybové prevence.
• 2. Základy léčebné rehabilitace v jednotlivých oborech lékařství (vnitřní lékařství, kardiologie, pneumologie, neurologie, intenzivní péče) a možnosti doporučení pohybových aktivit po stabilizaci základního onemocnění.
• 3. Fyziologické aspekty jednotlivých forem pohybových aktivit. Pohybová aktivita ve vyšším věku. Problematika postury a respirace při sportovní zátěži.
• 4. Preskripce a možnosti pohybové aktivity u kardiologických a metabolických onemocnění I.
• 5. Preskripce a možnosti pohybové aktivity u kardiologických a metabolických onemocnění II.
• 6. Diskuse k probrané problematice, závěrečný test.
