- Course objectives
- The aim of this subject is to introduce students with the problems of rehabilitation, prevention and rational choices and physical activity regimen recommendations for individuals with busy types of diseases. Detail, the issue focused on metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to interpret the problems of rehabilitation and prevention of internal diseases, to formulate recommendations in physical activity and to apply acquired knowledge. The knowledge gained is able to be used in connection with nutritional recommendations and recommendations in connection with regeneration in sport.
- Syllabus
- 1. First Introduction, definition of basic concepts, medical rehabilitation and its role in contemporary medicine and disciplines dealing with the prevention and rehabilitation. The role of doctor, physiotherapist, an expert in the field of prevention of motion. 2. Principles of rehabilitation in medicine (internal medicine, cardiology, pneumology, neurology, intensive care) and opportunities for physical activity recommendations stabilization of the disease. 3. Physiological aspects of various forms of physical activities. Physical activity by elderly people. The issue of posture and respiration during sports activity. 4. Prescription of physical activity and opportunities in cardiology and metabolic diseases I. 5. Prescription of physical activity and opportunities in cardiology and metabolic diseases II. 6. Memorized talk issues, the final test.
