The student has successfully completed undergraduate degree in Sports Management and was admitted to the N Mgr same field. Has sufficient knowledge especially in the field of management, marketing,law, economy.

Course objectives
The course aims to deepen and broaden the theoretical and practical knowledge of public administration of the Czech Republic in relation to the sport and the ability to understand the importance of sport for the functioning of sport in European society and to explain the importance of sport to the EU.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should be able to: - Define the concept of public administration and contained part of the state administration and local government - Describe the system of public budgets and its parts - Characterize the historical context of European development, integration phase; - Describe the outline of the functioning of the European institutions, competences, aspects of political influence; - The EU legal framework, EU standards, regulations of sports associations, the case European Court of Justice; - Characterize the legal framework of the EU, EU standards regule sports associations, the case in the European Court on sport

  • • Definition of Public Administration • Government, the role of central government authorities • Local governments, counties, cities and municipalities • Czech Olympic Committee • Public budgets • Law on Sport • Law on Lotteries • Historical context of European development, integration phase; - Framework outline the functioning of European institutions, powers, aspects political influence; - The EU legal framework, EU standards, regulations of sports associations, the case European Court of Justice; - The European Charter for sport - White Paper on Sport and EU strategic documents;
