- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to follow up on the subjects Specialization 2 - Football and football coaching education subjects. Students are theoretically and practically acquainted with the problematics of the training process in football, with an emphasis on youth categories. Students learn the principles of skills development, gain a deeper knowledge of the structure and different types of training units, and learn how to implement different training cycles.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course the student is able to: - to plan and prepare a written layout of a training process in various categories of teenage football players, - to deliver and manage a training session with a different focus in various categories of teenage football players, and anaylze this session consequently - design a written preparation for a weekly microcycle in varopis categories of teenage football players.
- Syllabus
- Theory: Fitness training and conditioning. Understanding the development of movement skills. Training cycles. Specifics of the training process in women's soccer. Management work in the football club. Practice: Training and improvement of technical and tactical systems. Fitness development training. Development of individual movement abilities in training process. Analysis and evaluation of individual's in-site coaching via video analysis. Bachelor thesis on a given topic with.

- Assessment methods
- Requirements for the course completion: 100% active in-class participation. Passing a written test on theory and didactics of football. Delivering a training session on a given topic. Keeping a track of training history via students' own coaching documentation = coaching diary. Students do a weekly itnernship at a club of their choice. Students hand in a video of their coaching practice.
