Course objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce students with the practical basics of dance and movement therapy - the perception of space-time, awareness of the need for personal space and optimistic perception of self, intuitive group work, confidence in their own space and movement, coping with stress through physical activity. To introduce the student with several streams of dance and movement therapy, theoretical bases for the use of dance and movement therapy in practice.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to determine the dance and movement therapy, he is able to explaine particular techniques, and also theoretical resources. Student after completing the course - A theoretical and practical knowledge of the diagnosis of movement - movement therapy can be applied in practice
Syllabus
  • The theoretical basis (students can acquire continuously, during the practical exercises in the context of the topics being discussed) - creation and development of movement and dance therapy - ADTA (American Dance Therapy Association), AEDT (European Association of Dance Therapy), Laban's notation, primitive expression, psychobalet
  • Practical exercises We and our bodies, walking on a defined space, nonverbal communication, tactile contact with a partner in various positions Laban's technology and diagnostics of movement - vertical, horizontal and sagittal lines of movement and self-presentation, light and heavy movement, space, time and energy into movement, muscle tone diagnostics Expanding of movement vocabulary, intuitive group work - coordination and rhythmic movement in space, a small group of selected copy mode movement. Changing roles and getting to space, space and confidence in their own movement The entered physical variations allows to express human feelings - love, hate, pride, sadness, .. Practice changing tension and relaxation techniques as a basis for controlling their own bodies and breakdown of psychological barriers in selfexpression.
