- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to improve students´ level of academic English skills as well as their awareness of the scientific method and develop specific research skills such as effective searching in databases, data analysis and presentation.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course students will have acquired basic language needed for writing research papers.

- Unit 1: The scientific method, database search; Unit 2: Data collection techniques, research designs; Unit 3: Data analysis, presenting data; Unit 4: Writing an abstract
