Course objectives
The aim of subject Track and Field III is to provide theoretical knowledge and training practical skills:
  • periodization, evidence of training and manage Track and Field training,
  • sport talent,
  • work with video analysis,
  • specifics of trainig of children and youth
  • the structure of sports perfomance of hepthatlon and decathlon,
  • training of the correct technique of hepthatlon and decathlon events.
  • Learning outcomes
    After successful completion of the subject Track and Field Specialization III student will be able to:
  • aply knowledge about the structure of sports perfomance of (hepthatlon and decathlon)
  • manage the correct technique of events (hepthatlon and decathlon)
  • analyze the most occuring mistakes in technique of mentioned events
  • work with videoanalysis
  • manage training of Track and Field events, also in complex within hepthatlon and decathlon
  • analyze of training indicators within training cycles
  • practise of training running, jumping, throwing events, also in complex within hepthatlon and decathlon
  • periodize and evidence training of children, youth and adults

    • 1. Introduction to the subject Specialization Track and Field III.
    • 2. The structure of the sport perfomance of hepthatlon and decathlon, trainig of the correct technique of hepthatlon and decathlon events

    Teaching methods
    Teaching will take the form of lectures in the classroom and practical exercises at the athletic stadium and the gym.
    Assessment methods
    Credits is awarded based on student succesfully passing oral exam and the active participate in lessons. (90%). The exam consists from 3 questions rated 30 points. Students have to reach 60% from 90 points. The exam contains knowledge from theory of the structure of sports perfomance, technique and rules all Track and field events, periodization, evidnece and analyse of training. After succesfull completion students gains licence of coaching of Track and field II. class
