Course objectives
The main goal of the course is to teach women how to use pepper spray. Sub-goals are to teach participants the basics of non-verbal, verbal and physical self-defense (simple strikes using pepper spray).
Syllabus
  • The self-defense course for women focuses on the practical use of pepper spray as a very commonly owned self-defense tool. The main goal of the course is to teach participants how to properly handle pepper spray and how to use it safely and effectively in case of danger. The course includes a theoretical part, which explains the principles of non-verbal and verbal self-defense, legal aspects of the application of necessary defense and possible scenarios of crisis situations. In the practical part, participants will then try out the principles of verbal and non-verbal self-defense, further master the basics of physical self-defense using pepper spray, and above all, try out model situations, where they will learn reactions to attacks and optimal techniques for quickly, effectively and assertively resolving situations that they will find themselves in within the model situations.
