Syllabus
  • The self-defense course for adults focuses on acquiring the basic skills needed to protect one's own safety. Participants will first learn the theoretical foundations of self-defense, including legal aspects, and learn how to prevent risky situations through effective anticipation and preventive measures. The program also includes work with posture and correct posture, training in effective communication (verbal and non-verbal) and reactions to conflict situations. We will also focus on working with space, i.e. maintaining a safe distance between the defender and a potential attacker. In the practical part, participants will master basic techniques such as punches, kicks, grabs and holds, and practice defending against various attacks, including strangulation, grips or hugs. The course will conclude with model situations in which participants will try out the application of acquired skills in simulated conflict scenarios. The course concludes with an evaluation of the participants' performance and individual feedback, which will contribute to the further development of their self-defense skills.
