- Teaching methods
- Theory and practical excersises, planning motion and training programs.
- Assessment methods
- The exam consists of two parts.
The first part is the preparation (individual, group work) of plans for training units, microcycles, mesocycles or macrocycles in a specified sport discipline or selected population group (the distribution of specific topics will take place during the first week of the semester). Students will upload the developed topic to the appropriate drop box no later than 2 days prior to the specific due date determined at the beginning of the semester. They then present the developed training plan along with the basic background of fitness training for the topic/sport/population and demonstrate the selected training unit in the seminar. The preparation and implementation of the identified plan and training unit A-F is assessed. The seminar output assessment accounts for 30% of the overall course grade.
The second part is a written and subsequent oral examination in which the student draws one of the individual sports. For this sport, the student will describe the background of fitness training and design training plans according to the assignment, which he/she will defend orally immediately after the written preparation. The examination grade is A-F, with the examination accounting for 70% of the overall grade for the course. - Language of instruction
