Course objectives
The Basics of Personal Self-Defense course is designed for anyone who wants to improve their personal safety and self-confidence in potentially dangerous situations. Participants will learn the basic principles and techniques of self-defense, including verbal de-escalation of conflict, effective stance techniques, or basic ground fighting techniques. The emphasis will be on prevention, recognizing dangerous situations, and psychological aspects of self-defense, such as managing fear and stress. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises that allow participants to apply the learned skills in a safe environment.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively respond to both potential and real threats and increase their level of personal security.

  • This is a course on the basics of personal self-defense, which will include an introduction to the basic principles and techniques of self-defense, including prevention, verbal de-escalation of conflict, effective stance techniques, and basic ground fighting techniques.

S sebou sportovní oblečení bez zipů a knoflíků Kurz v hale úpolových sportů FSpS – podlahu tvoří tatami, takže cvičení probíhá na boso, případně protiskluzové ponožky Účastníci si zajišťují vlastní oběd – možnost zakoupení v OC Campus Square K dispozici šatny s uzamykatelnými skříňkami, sprchy – nutný vlastní ručník.
