Course objectives
The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle Theory and Practice of Basketball I is geared for those who have mastered the basics of basketball. Students are supposed to know the rules and these game activities: dribbling, shooting, two-count rhythm.. It is a coed course and is not suitable for beginners.
Syllabus
  • The course will improve these game activities: 1.OFFENSIVE: -clearing without a ball -clearing with the ball -passing -shooting -rebounding -screening 2.DEFENSIVE: -different kinds of covering -individual defence during outnumbering 3. PREPARATORY GAMEs 3:3, 5:5

Tutorial assessed with a credit The credit is given to students for the attendance of a certain quality: more than 50% of the direct attendance is required - 1 possible absence without apology - 2 more possible absences with the list of apology - 3 more lessons can be compensated during the examination time
