Course objectives
Apprising with academic course. There are topics: working with information, orientation in genre, preparations to written scientific work, bases of statistics.
Syllabus
  • Author, reader, text. Selfprezentation. Genres of academic writing and publication I, II. Subject - search, selection, choice and strategy. Structure and design of project scientific work. Method and techniques, tools of research. Method of obtaining and data processing. Assesment of hypotheses. Qualitative and quantitative analysis. Selection of statistics. Statistical and factual significance. Interpretation of results.
