Course objectives
Philosophical kinanthropology is focused on the recognition of philosophical starting points of the entire physical culture system, in connection with social systems, upon recognition of a philosophical basis of activities in the field of physical education, recreation and sport, upon the recognition of the human being, philosophy of the body and movement, philosophy of Olympism and Sokol Rallies. The main aims: the understanding of the philosophical essence of the entire physical culture system, the understanding of the sense of different activities, the understanding of the difference in focused activities in connection with their philosophical basis, the understanding of the essence of work with the human, the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of the development of individual fields of physical culture.
Syllabus
  • Mutual reflections physical culture – society, development and changes of functions of physical culture; anthropological starting points of physical culture; essence of the human being; movement, human movement; philosophy of the body and her consequences in physical culture; individual and social body; bodily scheme, bodily selfconception; criticism of various conceptions of play; win and loose versus victory and defeat; value aspects of physical culture; development of olympism and its contemporary problems; philosophy of Sokol movement
