The main aim of the subject is to introduce the students to the muscles testing and neurological examination.
Syllabus
  • 1.Manual muscle testing
  • 2. Facial muscle test, neck muscle test.
  • 3. Trunk and respiratory muscles.
  • 4.Muscle test of upper extremity.
  • 5.Muscle test of lower extremity.
  • 6.Introduction to neurological examination
  • 7.Mental status exam.
  • 8.Testing cranial nerves.
  • 9.Sensory exam and coordination.
  • 10. Low back pain.
