The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course is geared for the students who like hiking, but who are also eager to learn something interesting about the surroundings of Brno in English language.The course is organised as 4 one-day hiking excursions around Brno in interesting areas in Southern Moravia. The excursions take place on 4 Saturdays or Sundays. Each of them takes about 6 hours. The dates for the spring term 2013 are:16.3., 30.3., 1.5. (a public holiday), 19.5. All the necessary information details about each trip will be sent to the registered students by the common mail before the semestr starts.

  • Hiking excursions: 1. Pálava and the surrounding area plus the town of Mikulov 2. Šlapanice plus the Peace Monument and the surrounding area (Napoleon) 3. Brno lake, Veveří castle and its surroundings 4. Lednice - Valtice area and the castle of Lednice

- exercise, credit - the credit is given to students for the attendance - 3classes can be misses and there is no need of any apology - the substitution of more absence sis not allowed
