- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to: understand the economic way of thinking - get to know the most important concepts and their practical applications in economics - to use the acquired knowledge for understanding practical examples from the Czech and world economy
- Syllabus
- 1. basic concepts, 2 market and its properties, 3 consumer equilibrium, 4 demand, quantity demanded and change, 5 elasticity of demand, 6 market offer products and services, 7 cost companies, 8 competition, 9 measurement of economic performance, 10 economic growth and economic cycles, 11 inflation, 12 labor market, 13 macroeconomic policy of the state. The exercises students will solve the current issues of economics, that will be present.
